Do we ever really change? I’ve spent 20 years attempting to help individuals and companies to grow and develop so the concept that people are capable of change sits right at the heart of that. If we don’t ever change, what have I been doing all this time?!

Of course, we do change. Life changes us. We gain new insights, we learn new lessons. And a lot of our development is really about unpicking bad habits of thinking and behaving that we’ve picked up along the way in order to reveal the true “me” rather than actually changing who we are.
Today’s guest is the wonderful Marianne Power. An author and journalist, she’s a self-confessed Self Help Junkie. A few years ago she set herself the task of working through 12 self-help books and doing what they told her to do TO THE LETTER. She’s now written a book about it called Help Me!
I really enjoyed talking to Marianne. She’s funny, thoughtful and has tonnes of experiences having experimented on herself for 16 months. You’ll enjoy hearing more about some of the ideas and practices she focused on, what made a difference (and what didn’t) and what she learnt about change as a result. I highly recommend the book - available at Amazon and you can follow her on Facebook “The Help Me Blog” and her website
